Iamverysorryfornothavingwrittenforsolong—Ihavebeenhereinmyhomecityalreadymorethantwomonths.EversinceIcamebacktoPeking，Ihavebeenverybusyinreadingandwriting.AllthetimesIwanttogoandseemoreplacesinordertogathersomematerialforwriting，butmysciaticpainisstillwithmeandIhavetostayineveryday，andIcanonlygetnewideasfromreading.
Afterfifteenyearsseparation，mythreesisters（seventy—three，seventy，andsixtyfouryearsold）arealllivinginPekingandstillveryhealthy.Mybigbrotherisheretoo.Theyareveryhappyindeedtoseetheiryoungestbrothercomingbackhome.Twoyearsago，mybrotherwasalmostdeadofstarvation.Now，hissonsareallworkingandmybrotherisrightagain.Sotheyalllovethenewgovernmentwhichisreallygoodtothepeople.
