Meantimemypathwasgraduallygrowingsmoothbeforeme.I,inafewweeks,conqueredtheteasingdifficultiesinseparablefromthecommencementofalmosteverycareer.ErelongIhadacquiredasmuchfacilityinspeakingFrenchassetmeatmyeasewithmypupilsandasIhadencounteredthemonarightfootingattheverybeginning,andcontinuedtenaciouslytoretaintheadvantageIhadearlygained,theyneverattemptedmutiny,whichcircumstance,allwhoareinanydegreeacquaintedwiththeongoingsofBelgianschools,andwhoknowtherelationinwhichprofessorsandpupilstoofrequentlystandtowardseachotherinthoseestablishments,willconsideranimportantanduncommonone.BeforeconcludingthischapterIwillsayawordonthesystemIpursuedwithregardtomyclasses:myexperiencema
